Aries Rotary emerges as a robust rotary speaker and amplifier simulator, well-suited for a diverse array of applications including guitar, organ, synthesizers, and vocals. Utilizing cutting-edge modeling technology, it allows users to effortlessly attain the rich, undulating tones characteristic of rotary cabinets. This versatile tool functions both as a powerful AUv3 effects plugin and a straightforward standalone application, compatible with iPads, iPhones, and Apple Silicon computers.

The rotary module features six distinct cabinet types and is equipped with a comprehensive set of parameters for precise sound customization. Notably, both the horn and drum components incorporate dual microphones, each with dedicated gain and pan settings. The design includes continuously variable distance and angularity controls that significantly affect the modulation characteristics and stereo image. User control over fast/slow speed settings and acceleration/deceleration parameters facilitates nuanced interaction between the horn and drum, allowing for the recreation of various popular cabinet modifications.

Complementing the rotary module is an independent amp section that offers six unique virtual-tube amplifiers. Users can conveniently mix and match these amplifiers with the cabinets or opt to bypass them altogether. Each amp is engineered to accommodate a broad spectrum of instruments, featuring extensive tonal controls that provide ample headroom for pristine clean tones as well as warm overdrive reminiscent of tube saturation. Additionally, a built-in spring reverb module enhances the organic reverb qualities found in classic amplifiers.

The “Post FX” module is carefully designed to further refine the expansive sounds produced by the Aries audio engine. This module includes a 3-band "Baxandall" inspired EQ stage, a room emulator to enrich depth and resonance, alongside a vintage-inspired compressor that adds clarity and dynamics to the output.

Professional-grade features enhance the user experience with an efficient preset management system for creating, modifying, and sharing banks and presets; MIDI learn capabilities coupled with augmented parameter-level settings; a responsive interface that accommodates various screen sizes; over 50 factory presets appealing to multiple musical styles; and more. The standalone app also boasts an integrated "tape deck," enabling users to record, play, and share their musical creations.
